These two process will help with the following requirements in the Genealogy Merit Badge: 1, 2a, 4a, 4b, 4c, 5e, 6, 7, 8a, 9.

Needles in the Haystack
  1. Log in to Puzzilla.org using your LDS.org user name and password.
  2. View 10-12 generations (mid-late 1700's).
  3. Select an ancestor and view 4 generations of descendants. This should get you close to the start of the 1900's.
  4. Toggle the option for Ordinances. This will take a moment to populate a green square to show needed temple work.
  5. For any green squares, click View in FamilyTree.
  6. Click the Ordinances button to request ordinances.
Green indicators in Puzzilla.org show names that have ordinances available to request.

Print Your Bar Code
  1. Select Not Printed in FamlySearch.org > Temple.
  2. Click the check box to select all names. You can select up to 50 at one time.
  3. Print the results. You will have a bar code at the top of a list.
  4. Provide the bar coded sheet at the Recorder's office in the temple. The office staff will scan the code and prepare your ordinance sheets.
